Here’s another sign with no history I can trace. On Almaden Road, in a closed lot where this sign stands. So tall, you can’t miss it. What is this sign? All it says is MOTORCYCLES. 
Check the location address below. If you view the address on google maps with street view, you’ll see that the sign still stands, with only one letter hanging on to it’s original red color.

That was Brook’s Cyclery. Right around 1967 I had a 750 Norton motorcycle that Ed Brooks helped repair a few times, including a spun bearing. I sold it, as it was not reliable as my only form of transportation to school. As motorcycle shops go Brook’s seemed pretty nice.
