An arrow and a mid-century script together make this a classic icon of a neon sign. The giant red arrow has been around from about 1952, which means it was there before Valley Fair was around.

Sadly, this sign doesn’t light up anymore.  But how amazing would that be, if it could light up, arrow flashing, like it did in the old days.
